Working a 9-to-5 job can be rough for many reasons. First, there’s the issue of office politics. In many corporate offices, employees won’t get very far unless they quickly learn the art of sucking up, and that’s something that many of us just don’t want to do. Either we aren’t good at it - or we just don’t want to.
Secondly, there’s the issue of transportation. If a job is not close, a person may have to spend hours in traffic and with the rising cost of gas these days, as well as insurance, this is becoming a critical factor for many people.
